Really poor quality with equally poor…
Really poor quality with equally poor customer service. Purchased two dresses around a week ago or so, and one came with a missing belt. I went on the customer service chat and they offered me some store credit. I decided to keep the dress without the belt and keep the store credit. I spent this on some items. A few days later I had another issue and then saw it was cheaper online due to sale. I was given £10 store credit. I then applied this to my basket in the non delivery instruction as instructed by an online advisor. The advisor assured me thay finance would deduct the credit when taken it from my account. This did not happen. I was charged the full amount. On top of this, the dress arrived with a small rip. I contacted customer service and was told I could have store credit (even though it has failed to add to my basket). When I raised the fact store credit from a previous issue was not even deducted the reply was 'not sure what happened'. No attempt to rectify the issue. I am quite shocked with Boden customer service. I just wish they gave me a slight refund so I could repair the dress at a tailor instead of giving me store credit which they never seem to apply to my order!

Boden are just brilliant
Boden are just brilliant. Good quality clothes that are always a joy to wear, incredible customer service and a returns policy that shows huge confidence inthekr clothes. Big fan.

Never and ever buy from Boden brand
Wish I could have given zero.

I would like to bring my concern that on 4th July I have ordered clothes (Order number GE2526740294GB) from Boden after checking the delivery and terms on your website which it has mentioned the delivery will be 4 business day when you spend 165 CAD above.
I had a party on July 9th and I have trust Boden company as per details provided for delivery in Boden website.

I got order number and confirmation immediately. I have reached to customer support team chat after I have seen the delivery is showing on 11th July end of the day. They have replied very rudely that we can not help you and we are not able to check the account as the order start with GE(Global Boden). This is the most ridicules respond I could have get from any customer support. May I know what is the reason you have customer support chat.

My party over and in last moment how I ran to the shop and found another dress to attend the party. This was the worst experience I had from Boden.

Definitely I will not recommend anyone to shop from this UK Brand. They dont care for the customer and their time.

I had already Email to social"at"boden.co.uk as well Boden customer support team. No respond. Such a disappointment feeling. Now I have to chase Boden and there is no use of it.

I am a new customer and I love the fact…
I am a new customer and I love the fact that I can purchase clothes in petite and that doesn't mean teeny tiny tight but it's done the right way. Also their customer service is very good. I had some minor issues and they dealt with them promptly. Getting my husband to look at their products too. I will certainly be buying more clothes here.

Don’t bother
I ordered from ROI and realised that I’d incorrectly ordered a pair of black instead of navy trousers. I filled out the online customer services contact form, which kept giving an error message every time I submitted. I tried to email the customer services email, it bounced back. I tried to call the number supplied, no answer. Literally impossible to contact customer services to cancel the order which has still not shipped anyway 10 days after I ordered it. I received one part of the order (a blazer which was completely over priced for what it was).

Poor quality clothing
Ordered two items and when they arrived they were the poorest quality. Thin cheap fabrics. When I asked for a refund they did process it but the link to their customer survey was broken, making me think they don't want to hear feedback. They also had nothing to say about the poor quality. They did nothing to try to change my mind which surprised me! They should know that it is better to retain a customer rather than find a new one. If I were in their position I would have tried to change my mind by giving me an incentive to try another item. But they did nothing.

No confidence buying from this shop
I love Boden website and clothing. Unfortunately had a poor shopping experience. Originally sent a totally wrong handbag than the one I ordered. It was replaced quickly but too late for me for the occasion I wanted it for. Ordered shoes that were too small so reordered a size larger. They were great. Sadly I had to phone as they didn’t put my refund through for my first pair of shoes. It is a very good job I checked my bank statement. Really doesn’t instil any confidence with me using this site again.

Missing parcel slack response
Waiting forever to get resolution on a lost parcel stuck in a loop of robot emails!!!! Local postal service admit liability but the sender - Boden- needs to claim. Correspondence has been forwarded to Boden who respond with same email "check tracking- wait 14 days!"

Advantages and Disadvantages of Buying from Boden
I think Boden has got some extremely lovely designs and their costumer service is excellent.
Alas, I have got two things that put me off buying from them - packaging and their production.
Admittedly, all bags they use now are apparently 80% from recycled plastic - that is good, BUT why do clothes need to arrive INDIVIDUALLY packed inside a clean bag? Several companies now don't do that anymore (Brandy Mellville, Zara for instance) and I find it is SO MUCH better, what is this packaging obsession - it is just getting worse not better! Even bags from reused material use lots of energy to be produced and then be disposed off - and 20% is still virgin plastic, better solutions are needed if we are to ever get on top of the plastic problem.
Secondly, I bought a few things from Boden two years ago, and was pleased to see they were produced in other countries not China, also countries geographically closer to UK, so less energy and pollution is needed / created to ship them over. This year, however, all i have bought, is produced in China, so I am sending it all back. I know, the company will say, yes, we have measures in place and the workers there are paid a decent wage etc - but who CAN actually monitor anything inside such an authoritarian regime? NOBODY really can. So not buying these things, they would not feel good to wear. Sorry, Boden, I do love your style, but until these two things are sorted I will not be buying from you again.

Faultless
I am a regular shopper at Boden, their clothes are beautifully designed, excellent quality and well fitting. Boden deliveries have always been within two days, plenty of discount codes plus free P&P.
One thing that stands out for me, compared to other online retailers is the speed of their returns .. There’s no hanging around for a refund, once posted your refunded within a couple of days .. Amazing

Excellent service
Two days ago I ordered my first item from Boden.
I received updates from Boden and their chosen delivery service Evri.
I was able to track the process and the item was delivered on time, today in good condition.
I have received parcels many times from Hermes (now Evri) and the driver is always reliable in my area. Thank you

No customer service through any avenue
I am really shocked, but I have just discovered that there's no way to contact Boden (EU) about an issue I'm having. I've tried their customer service web form, but I get an "Oops" page when I submit. I've tried their email (custserv at boden.eu) and it bounces back over and over again. I've tried sending a message via socials and no one replies. Genuinely shocked about this, I've been buying from them for ages with no issues, but the lack of communication avenues is like some rip-off company trying to hide. The origin of my problem is a swimsuit that has perished after 4 wears but the customer service issue is way more shocking in the end. Off-putting.

I have no complaint about Boden themselves, but if they insist on using Hermes (now Evri) as their delivery company, I will have to stop ordering from them. The Evri driver never bothers to ring the bell or knock on the door, and no text is sent (until long after the event) to tell you that it has been delivered. The parcel is just dumped by the door, and it's sheer luck whether you open it to look, and retrieve your parcel before the local doorstep thieves make off with it. Boden purchases are not a cheap buy, and it doesn't matter how good they are if you don't actually receive your order. Everyone agrees that Hermes/Evri are rubbish - why on earth do Boden persist in using them?
